Queso Blanco

Ingredients

1 1/2 tbsp Butter  
4 oz Cream cheese Softened
3 slices Pepper Jack  
3–5 tbsp Milk Add more for thinner consistency
1 tsp Chili powder  
To taste Garlic salt  

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan over medium-low heat, melt the butter, cream cheese and sliced Pepper Jack, stirring frequently.
  2. Add 3 tablespoons of milk, chili powder, and garlic salt; continue to stir until the mixture is fully melted and smooth.
  3. Add more milk (1 tablespoon at a time) until the queso reaches your desired consistency.
  4. Serve warm with tortilla chips or as a topping for nachos.
