Instructions
- In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Saute garlic and mirepoix mix for about 5 minutes, or until veggies are tender.
- Add tomato sauce, spices, stock, and water, and bring to a boil.
- Simmer for 15 minutes.
- Drain and rinse beans.
- Add beans and pasta, stir, and bring to a boil.
- Simmer for 5 minutes, or until pasta is al dente.
- Let cool, remove bay leaf, and serve with bread and butter.
